In honour of his “mentor”, Faiz Ali Faiz has set out to create a whole new cultural dynamic: he has taken certain traditional titles or the more famous compositions of Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, in order to show that tradition and Qawwali are molecules in perpetual motion.
